At Saddle & Vest Cellars, our story began under the soft Georgia sun, where a deep-rooted love for the land met a bold vision for the future. But our legacy was built long before the first vine was planted. It was forged by a trailblazing matriarch, Herminia Velazquez, whose journey from the sun-soaked shores of Puerto Rico to the vibrant streets of New York City became our North Star.
Her life was an unwavering pursuit of resilience, vision, and unshakable courage. Just as she defied convention to become a successful entrepreneur, we craft our wines to embody that same fearless spirit. While we are proud to be rooted in Georgia, we looked to California, a state internationally renowned for its viticulture and home to some of the world’s best wines, to bring unparalleled quality to our collection.
